Dr. Hayley King

VETERINARIAN, HOSPITAL OWNER AND PRACTICE MANAGER
Dr. King graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 1994. Early in her career, she spent 7 years in emergency medicine, an experience which helped her learn to approach her daily work with a sense of calm and grace. She has a particular interest in behaviour and rehabilitation medicine. Dr. King enjoys working with, and developing trusting relationships with her clients in order to provide the best possible care for pets. In her spare time, Dr. King enjoys reading and writing. She shares her home with her husband Tim, their two children, and her favourite little fur, Gryphon the wonder dog!

Dr. Tim Mason

VETERINARIAN, HOSPITAL OWNER AND HOSPITAL ADMINISTRATOR
Dr. Mason is a 1993 graduate of the Ontario Veterinary College. After 9 years of general and emergency practice at clinics in Durham region and Barrie, he decided to open Brock Street Animal Hospital. Dr. Mason has special interests in endocrinology, dentistry and dermatology. In his spare time, he enjoys being with his wife, Hayley, their two children and their awesome dog, Gryphon the Border Terrier. Dr. Mason enjoys golf, biking, and hiking; he also spends a fair amount of time exercising at the gym in an attempt to minimize the impact of his junk food addiction.

Dr. Hayley King

VETERINARIAN, HOSPITAL OWNER AND PRACTICE MANAGER
Dr. Aneeta Hussain joined us at Brock Street Animal Hospital in March, 2024, and she brings with her 30 years of experience in the field. Dr. Hussain hails from Lahore, Pakistan, where she completed her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree in 1994 and went on to complete her Masters in Clinical Medicine and Surgery in 1996.
After practicing in small and large animal clinics for a few years, she immigrated to Canada, and obtained her license to practice Veterinary Medicine in North America in 2014. Her professional interests include dogs, cats and rabbits.
Dr. Aneeta is married and has a daughter. In her spare time, she enjoys time with her family, cooking and gardening.

Renata

VETERINARY TECHNICIAN and OFFICE MANAGER
Renata is a 2010 graduate of the University of the West Indies school of veterinary medicine, in Trinidad. She moved to Canada in 2011 and began working as a veterinary technician at a small animal clinic in Toronto. Renata joined the Brock Street Animal Hospital team in January 2013. She has 3 dogs, Skyla, Saidi and Gucci who live with her parents in Trinidad. She enjoys baking (she makes an awesome Skor brownie!), television and cinema and the challenge of escape rooms. She is happily married and proud mom of a young son.

Sabrina

VETERINARY TECHNICIAN
Sabrina hails from Brazil where she graduated with a degree in veterinary medicine in 2001. She moved to Canada in 2014 and has worked at a research laboratory in Montreal and for Hills pet food company. Sabrina joined Brock Street Animal Hospital in January 2022.

Erin

PATIENT CARE REPRESENTATIVE AND VETERINARY ASSISTANT
Erin started her Veterinary Assistant co-op placement with us in January 2022 followed by a full time position after graduation from Durham College in April 2022. Erin is enrolled in the Seneca College Registered Veterinary Technician program. She loves movies and music (she can often be heard singing a tune) and most importantly her awesome dog, Callie.

Tori

PATIENT CARE REPRESENTATIVE AND VETERINARY ASSISTANT
Tori began volunteering with us in May 2022 and is now working full time. She graduated from the Durham College Veterinary Assistant program in April 2022. Tori is enrolled in the Seneca College Registered Veterinary Technician program. She enjoys art, hiking, Marvel/DC movies and of course her dogs - the adorable Buddy and Hershey the ankle biter!

Victoria

PATIENT CARE REPRESENTATIVE
Victoria is a 2023 graduate of the Durham College Veterinary Office Assistant program. She loves movies and video games, but most importantly her two dogs Boone and CeCe.

Susan

PATIENT CARE REPRESENTATIVE
Sue has been an RN for 30 years, taking care of patients in the OR. Her dog, Callie, and cat, Pixie, always remind her how important our pets are. She is excited to join our team to care for your furry friends.
